Hello,  

My name is Van Mears.  I am the Program Director at Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission.  I have been at the Mission since August 30^th, 2001.  I was saved by our Lord Jesus Christ back in July 1977.  At that time I lived and worked in Camden , N.J. .  I still have family there.  I came to California in June, 2001.   

I lived in San Diego before coming to Los Angeles .  Actually the Lord called me to Los Angeles which I had passed through on my way to San Diego !  I joined E.B.R.M. August 30^th, 2001 thinking that I would be here for a short time, that was four (4) years and seven (7) months ago.  The Lord has given me some work to do here and has supplied all my needs!
