"I've
Moved"

| I
don't remember telling you, I've moved
out of One Beggars Alley, near Poverty
Lane, at the intersection of Bleak
and Blustery Road. Today I
have a new home. |
|
| My
new address is Living Well on Abundance
Drive, near the corner of Blessings
Boulevard and Prosperity
Park. No longer must I travel Begging
Peter to Pay Paul Circle, around The
Dead End Intersection called I
Don't Have, which connects with Borrowers'
Junction. |
|
| And,
hey! I don't hang out at Failure's
Place any more - you know, that
joint near Excuses Avenue, next
to Procrastination Point.
I've moved into a new community called Higher
Ground, with unlimited potential
opportunities for me to further succeed. |
|
| Wow!
Look at me! Every day I wake up thankful
for my new home and the new clothes I've
been given, which are all
tailor-made. I'm dressed now in
life's finest; let me introduce you to
them: Divine Favor - having been
justified by faith, I have peace with
God. Faith - knowing not only
that God loves me, but also that He's
willing to lead me and guide me through
all the struggles of the day. Diligence
- having set my heart upon the
Lord's work, I'm ready to do whatever He
tells me. Courage -- having
no need to fear or dread anything,
because the Lord is always with me to
keep me in line, and to prevent the
wicked one from luring me astray. |
|
| What
a change! Instead of dread and doubt,
guilt and shame, vanity and vexation, I
now have peace and joy and
love and confidence and a
whole lot of other things I'm just now
beginning to discover. Life is
good because Christ Jesus my God is
good. |
|
| Maybe
you'd like to change your address.
There're plenty of vacancies available
to you. Come join in with me in
this new community. |
|
| May
God richly bless and save you = He wants
to; why wait? |
